Crochet Wire Tiaras

 

There are some great tiaras about.  Wonderful for weddings or parties or any suitable event!

 

Having been commissioned to make a couple for weddings, I made some for my website and took a few pictures as I went along to get you inspired to try and make one yourself!

 

Usually the range of crochet wire jewellery range comes in silver, but I was asked to make a gold one, so here are tiaras made in both metals.

You need a crochet hook and gold or silver plated copper wire.
Also gems and crystals of your choice.  I have used Freshwater Pearls, Glass Pearls and
Swarovski Crystals.


The 'Iona' Tiara

The 'Iona' is a gold wire with Glass Pearls and Swarovski Crystal Tiara.

Firstly the wire shape tiara is created using double crochet stitch and shell stitch.

Glass Pearls and Swarovski Crystals are added.

The 'Sophia' Tiara

The 'Sophia' is made using silver wire and Freshwater Pearls with Swarovski Crystals

This is created using a double tear and two rows of Freshwater Pearls

 The 'Ava' Tiara

The 'Ava' a gold tiara with Freshwater Pearls and Swarovski Crystals

 

Swarovski Crystals are added to the top of the wire, creating a crown shape.

 The 'Ella' is a silver Tiara with Glass Pearls and Swarovski Crystals

 

It is made using silver wire, shell stitch and adding pearls and crystals
